Welcome to Colfax General Store--located in the foothills of Western North Carolina.  We are a reasonable facsimile of an era gone by-the old country general store.  In those stores you could find whatever you were looking for...be it groceries, plows, plow points, cattle and chicken feed, nuts, bolts, lamps, kerosene, shoes, boots, sewing goods, well buckets, rope, etc.

Although we don't carry the items of the old general stores, we take pride and great pleasure in finding the best products and prices for you-our customers.  We may only have a few products in each area of our store, but they will be of excellent quality and price.

With that same spirit, we welcome you to our general store!  Have a look around--the fire in the old pot belly stove is roaring, and there are several customers gathered 'round the checkerboard. The bologna, hoop cheese, soda crackers and soda pop are on back order!
